Who are we?

             Arrowhead-Deer Valley Traffic Survival School is certified by the Arizona Department of Transportation. Our instructors are well trained and knowledgeable. The class curriculum allows for students to participate and interact and allows for an interesting and fun learning environment.      

What is Traffic Survival School (TSS)?

TSS is an eight hour, one day course that is required by the Arizona Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) for certain violations.

You should have received a letter from ADOT/MVD stating that you are required to complete a class. If you received a citation and have not gone to court and paid for the ticket, you may be able to have the ticket dismissed by attending a defensive driving class. Who is required to attend TSS?

          The Motor Vehicle Division mandates:

    * Anyone who is convicted of a red light violation in the state of Arizona.

    * Anyone convicted of a moving violation while they are under the age of  eighteen.

    *Anyone who accumulates eight (8) to twelve (12) points on their driving record within a one year period.

How long do I have to attend the class?

It must be completed within sixty (60) days from the notice date on the corrective action notice letter from  ADOT. If it is not completed within the sixty (60) days, the MVD will suspend your driver's license until the class is completed.

How do I register for a class?

Once you have selected a class date and location, please register online (click 'register online' button ) or call us at 602 405 6644. Class size is limited so register early. You will be asked to provide the following information:
Your name,  the case number from the ADOT letter, and a phone number where you can be reached the night before the class. 

 What will I need to bring to class?


    * Motor Vehicle Division Corrective Action letter or court ordered letter.

    * Driver’s license or valid ID.

    * $140 Cash or Money Order Payment.
